OnAlert is developing Automated Emergency Response and Engagement System “AERES”, a technology platform that will save lives by automating the first response to gunshots in schools. AERES instantly detects gunshots and determines the shooters location within a school. It automatically locks the school down and immediately sends emergency notification to 911, law personnel and school staff, providing them with a diagram of the school and the shooter’s location. It executes a mobile messaging application between school staff and first responders en route to the school so police can securely send and receive text instructions to school staff.
